We use low pressure washing, along with proprietary cleaning and brightening agents to prepare and restore your deck or fence, bringing it back to its natural beauty.
Restoration of the wood begins with the application of our restorative cleaners. This detergent oxidizes the wood's surface and lifts the dirt, mold and mildew to enable a safe low pressure cleaning of the surface. Following the cleaning process, a conditioner and wood brightener is applied to the surface. This acts to open the pores of the wood for enhanced stain/sealer penetration and it also pulls tannin stains and discoloration out of the wood. To provide added protection against rot and deterioration caused by moisture, TimberGuard applies CedarShield internal sealant after the cleaning and brightening process. Once dry, this leaves the wood with a near new appearance and provides a great base for the staining process. Once dry, our technicians will return to complete the staining portion of the project using ReadySeal semi-transparent penetrating oil stain.
